Coupon Policy

You will see 3 different types of coupons come into our stores. Coupon examples #2 and #3 have not been seen in stores in this form as of yet.

Manufacturer Coupons

Manufacturer coupons have a bar code on them and can simply be scanned by the cashier. They typically come from magazines, newspapers, flyers, etc. Occasionally, Associated puts manufacturer coupons in the ad at the request of a vendor. When these coupons appear in the ad they will say “Manufacturer Coupon” in the bar at the top and have a red “Cart in the A” logo.

AFS Vendor Coupon

AFS Vendor coupons appear online or in the weekly ad. They will have a PLU# assigned to them and located in the top left corner. Under the PLU # you will notice the words “Scan Down”. In the heading at the top it will say “AFS Vendor Coupon” along with an expiration date.

In-Store Coupons

My Suggestions: In-store coupons appear online or in the weekly ad. They look very similar to AFS Vendor Coupons and they will have a PLU# assigned to them. However, in-store coupons will not have the words “Scan Down” Under the PLU #. In the heading at the top it will say “In-Store Coupon” along with an expiration date.
